The US CMA course or certification is offered by IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) of USA, which is the worldwide association of accountants and financial professionals in business. It was founded in 1919, having 90,000+ members and global reach of 140 countries through 300 professional and student chapters.
CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification has been the global benchmark for management accountants and financial professionals. You can now get a professional certification from the USA within 12 – 18 months.
Financial Planning, Performance, and Analytics
- Section A – External Financial Reporting Decisions (15%)
- Section B – Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting (20%)
- Section C – Performance Management (20%)
- Section D – Cost Management (15%)
- Section E – Internal Control (15%)
- Section F – Technology and Analytics (15%)
The CMA Part 1 has 100 MCQ and 2 Essay Question. One has to score 360 marks out of 500 in order to crack it.

Successful completion of PUC OR 10+2 is eligible for enrolment. However, the student must obtain a graduation degree and two years of work experience within 7 years of the date of passing the CMA exam.
To be declared pass, a student is required to score 360 marks out of 500 marks question paper which includes 100 MCQ questions and 2 case study questions.
- Exams for CMA USA is conducted by the examination body called Prometrics.
- Exam centres are available in India in most of the cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Singapore, Malaysia, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, USA and many more.
