    Syllabus

    CS Foundation

    The CS Foundation Course is the entry level for the Company Secretary Course and students are eligible to enroll for the CS Foundation Course right after having appeared for their Class 12 (10+2) examination or its equivalent.

    CS Executive

    The CS Executive Programme is the next level in the process of acquiring a Company Secretary qualification and the examination may be taken after completion of the CS Foundation.

    Eligibility

    CS Foundation Eligibility

    Any student who has appeared in 10+2 or equivalent examination from any board.

    Students having completed the equivalent of 10+2 from Arts, Science or Commerce (except Fine Arts) streams are eligible to apply.


    CS Executive Eligibility

    Successful completion of the CS Foundation Course.

    Completion of graduation in commerce stream or any other discipline (except Fine Arts).

    Direct entry route is also available for students having CPT (Common Proficiency Tests) of ICSI and ICAI.


    CS Professional Eligibility

    Successful completion of the CS Foundation Course.

    Completion of graduation in commerce stream or any other discipline (except Fine Arts).

    Duration

    The duration of the CS Foundation, CS Executive and CS Professional is 8 months.

    Examination

    CS Foundation: Held in June and December each year.

    CS Executive: Held in June and December each year.

    CS Professional: Held in June and December each year.

    CS Admission Criteria

    The admission for CS, for all three levels can be taken anytime during the year.

    Internship for CS Qualification

    After clearing the CS Executive/Professional programme, candidates would need to complete 15 months of training in a company or under a practising CS. Additionally, candidates also require to undergo 15 days training with the Registrar of Companies, stock exchanges and specified regulators and 15 days compulsory Management Skills Orientation Programme (MSOP) to become an eligible associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, (ICSI).

    CS Foundation Rs. 4,500
    CS Executive Rs. 9000 for commerce graduates
    Rs. 12,500 for CPT passed student of ICAI/ Foundation passed students of ICoAI
    Rs. 10,000 for non commerce students
    Rs. 8,500 for CS foundation passed students
